John Aycock III passed away on January 16, 2014 from lung cancer at age 65. His wife and two sons have filed the lawsuit, alleging that the company was negligent in exposing their husband and father to asbestos.
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. Asbestos, a naturally-occurring mineral found within our earth, has been used for centuries within American products of all kinds, putting citizens at risk for the deadly disease. After a mesothelioma diagnosis has been made within an individual, it is not uncommon to hear about them filing a lawsuit against the manufacturers of asbestos products.
