A family of a Nederland, Texas man is suing his employer, Chevron, claiming that asbestos exposure on the job led to his premature death. John Aycock III passed away on January 16, 2014 from lung cancer at age 65. His wife and two sons have filed the lawsuit, alleging that the company was negligent in exposing their husband and father to asbestos.
Asbestos in the workplace has affected many different types of workers across the nation. One of the places workers are at risk for coming into contact with the substance on the job is within oil refineries.
