ADAO’s 4th Annual Asbestos Day Conference Provides Information and Support to Those Affected by Asbestos

Asbestos Awareness Day Supports ADAO's Mission to Ban Asbestos in America

February 15, 2008 - The 4th Annual Asbestos Awareness Day Conference will be held on March 29th and 30th, 2008, in Detroit, Michigan. This Asbestos Awareness Day Conference is put on by the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) with the support and help of the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Wayne State University, and the International Ban Asbestos Secretariat (IBAS). The focus of this international asbestos conference is to support ADAO's continuing efforts to ban asbestos in America and to provide education, outreach and support to scientists, employees, employers and those families who have been affected by the dangers of asbestos. As part of the ADAO's mission, they strive to promote and inspire research efforts to improve treatment options for those suffering from asbestos-related diseases. Some of the world's prominent experts in the medical, safety and health fields will present topics on the current status of asbestos both in the United States and worldwide.
