Julie Insisoulath joined Brayton Purcell in 2015 and is active in our asbestos litigation department.

Julie obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from John F. Kennedy University in 2013, where she was awarded a Certificate in Public Interest. During her time in law school, she volunteered for the Legal Clinic of Elders as a Certified Law Student. Julie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University in 2010 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Communication Studies. During her undergraduate years, Julie volunteered for the Victims of Crime Unit with the San Francisco District Attorney’s office, assisting victims in applying for compensation. Julie was also a member of the Americorps/JusticeCorps program, which provided free legal services to low-income, pro per litigants.

In her free time, Julie volunteers for the Legal of Marin by providing limited scope representation to pro per litigants in Unlawful Detainer hearings.
